Kizzume

Kizzume is pronounced kih-zoom. I got it from a mispronunciation of MUSIC backwards. If you write more the pronunciation of music, it's mee-oo-zik. If that's backwrds it's Kiz-oo-eem. Well that sounds dumb doesn't it? Let's get rid of the "ee" at the end. KIZUUM. Kizuum was originally the main consideration of the spelling, but I thought it looked too much like a vacuum, which is just about the only other word that has the double-U going on, so I used spelling rules--put the E on the end and the U becomes the oo like zoom sound, and now it looks pretty good, but thought it just needed a little more so I added the double-Z.

Not much new news, honestly. The Mercury Rising album is about half done now (since we started from scratch and did it right this time)--the guitars and the bass tracks are all finished, and the drum tracks are half-finished, there's a couple keyboard parts I'll be adding on a few songs, and there's my vocals, which could go really quickly or it could be a long tedious process like all the other instruments have been. I'm guessing the latter.

I was supposed to have a decent job doing office work and computer repair, but then I found out that it's something where I'd be occasionally on-call. Big disappointment, especially since I'll have to go to Seattle to do it--I'm probably going to get paid diddly. Sad

For those who have come here for the forum:

I know that some people prefer light backgrounds with dark text--not to worry: You can change the theme of the forum to a light background with dark text once you are a member--just go to the main index page at the bottom or go to your profile to change it.

The Chess thing is too buggy for me to want to put it up on the forum. I wish it was not the case, but alas, it is. I guess chess isn't as popular as I had hoped--at last not popular enough for anyone to make a decent chess game for forums. There was one that may have worked, but it made you post moves like posts on a forum, and it just seemed really hoakey to me, so I decided not to put it in, and because of it, I'm really not that interested in doing an arcade. Chess was the main thing I wanted to have going because it allowed users to compete with each other directly instead of focusing on who go the best high score in a one-player game.

I've been so very seldom active on any forums lately except for a couple related to Second Life. My interest in politics has dwindled--I just don't care about politics much anymore. I've finally become jaded enough that I just don't care anymore. I welcome political debate, and maybe occasionally I'll get involved for a few moments, but don't expect me to be like I was before because those things just don't matter to me much anymore.
