Ann Coulter wants Jews to be "more perfected"

When Deutsch responded, "It would be better if we were all Christian?" Coulter said "Yeah."

Deutsch, himself Jewish, continued to press Coulter on her remarks, asking, "We should just throw Judaism away and we should all be Christians then?"

"Yeah," Coulter responded, adding "Well, it's a lot easier. It's kind of a fast track."

"You can't possibly believe that," Deutsch responded. ?You can?t possibly. You?re too educated.?

"Do you know what Christianity is?" Coulter replied. "See, we believe your religion, but you have to obey. We have the fast track program."

Later in the interview Deutsch asked Coulter if she doesn't want any Jews in the world, Coulter responded, "No, we think ? we just want Jews to be perfected, as they say."

"Wow, you didn't really say that, did you," Deutsch said.

"Yeah, no,? Coulter replied. ?That?s what Christianity is. We believe the Old Testament, but ours is more like Federal Express. You have to obey laws. We know we're all sinners."

I wonder how much turbulence she'll see over this one. She'll probably be read the riot act over it, but Ann seems to be good at that.

What it may make one look at is--as harsh and derogatory as she is, does she have any shred of truth in what she is saying? I think what she's saying is awful, but do many people believe the same as what she is saying?

Ann Coulter, as Bill O'Reilly puts it, is a "Bomb-Thrower". I still haven't figured out how she expects people to react any other way than they do.

I sometimes wonder whether she has a completely different viewpoint on things and that she just says whatever she can get away with legally and make a lot of money doing it.

maybe im a cynic but i think she does a lot of it to sell books and get her name publicized

remember how she said that stuff a few years ago about killing all muslim families? she obviously has mental problems

The sad part isn't that she says the stuff, but that people actually believe her and agree with it. That's really the worst problem about what she's saying. She gives voice to the nutbaggers. It's not surprising though, she feels Jews need to be perfected. It's a logical outgrowth of arrogant religions thinking they know best and must spread the "one true faith." It's just like how Christians can laugh at "primitive faiths" of other cultures, yet not realize the same criticism applies to themselves.

It is sad how many people use their belief to downgrade other people's beliefs, including atheism.

It really is sad how many people actually support Ann's statements. It's amazing to me how many books she's sold.

What amazes me is how she was busted for plagiarism and apparently nothing ever came of it. Apparently her pubilsher and her readers have no problem with plagiarism, just as they have no problem with polarizing hate rhetoric. Whatever. But she is definitely not my cup of tea.

She speaks to people who want to hear her, and see her as an authority because she spews out the bile they so long to hear.
