I now have the Nintendo DS emulator up and running. So far I've tried Contra 4, New Super Mario Bros., and Dragon Quest IV. So far they all work flawlessly. Very exciting!!!

I'm pretty impressed with this thing. It comes ready to go, no bios hunting, etc.
DeSmuME is the name of it. It has movie recording and sound ripping capabilities, you can render in all the cool SuperSAI, Eagle, etc. and it's pretty compatible with a lot of titles. Yeah for emulation!

Yeah, a lot of people (including myself) were really sad at the death of 2-d gaming on a mainstream level last generation and before. Turns out the DS has better 2d stuff than back in the day . . .
