For quite a while I have been looking into a way of having buttons available for each post that lets someone agree, disagree, laugh, thanks, or groan at a post, and it would show in that post who did it. This would allow people to participate in a conversation even if they didn't have much to offer the conversation. This kind of modification has been available for vBulletin forums for quite a long time--and it looks like it is starting to make its way into phpBB forums now.

For a period of time I was considering switching to vBulletin--but finances have kept that from happening (especially after having to move my club, The Fourth Dimension, to a new and larger location which costs me about $50 a month), so I've had to find ways of really improving this forum without changing the software altogether. I'm excited about getting a modified version of this mod working on this forum.

Some things have changed already on this forum, most of those things are not noticeable to the majority of members because they primarily have to do with information that the moderators and administrators on this forum are able to see in each post.

Anyway, hopefully changes will be coming soon.
