From what I've read about this, it was the fault of the audio engineers--they recorded the sample of the keyboards at a rate of 44,100 but played it back at 48,000, causing it to be too high in pitch. I just don't understand why they couldn't have just gotten a real keyboard player in the first place.
This truly is just about the most horrible thing I've ever heard happen to this talented of a group of people.
