LAME and Audacity-- Great Package

AFter Meeting up with Kizzume in person, and talking about a variety of things --including music formats and recording music-- I decided to test out the LAME/Audacity combination to take wav files I have, make them playable on a cd player, and also use them to make mp3s.

See, since my pro tools membership ran out on mp3s, I can't make them through pro tools anymore and I have been forced to resort to using WMA. Now I can use LAME instead to encode super high quality mp3s.

Let me just say, the results are in: It sounds good. It sounds really good!

Yeah, it's a really great combination. Audacity is well written--it's efficient, I can load it in an instant and immediately start recording.
